Java Servlet

최근에 java에 입문한 쥬니어라면 “Java Servlet”에 대해 어디선가 들어봤지만, 누구도 자세히 알려주지 않습니다. 주로 회사에서 배우다보면 업무에 필요한 프레임워크 레벨부터 배우기 때문입니다. Java Servlet의 소스를 보면 아래와 같이 설명되어 있습니다. Servlet Container (Web Container)

“Servlet Container”라는 이름에서 유추해보면 무언가 Servlet을 여러개 포함하고 있을 것 같습니다. “Servlet Container”는 개념적인 이야기이기 때문에 위키피디아의 설명을 찾아보았습니다. 위키피디아 설명의 가장 상단에 작성된 요약본이지만, 중요한 얘기는 다 나왔습니다.

1. 서블릿과 상호 작용한다.
2. 서블릿의 생명주기를 관리해준다.
3. URL과 특정 서블릿을 맵핑하여 URL 요청이 올바른 접근 권한을 갖도록 보장한다.
